Two places at Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s world championship are at stake in the MPL MY Season 18 playoffs: the champion and the runner-up both qualify for the M8 World Championship.
What M8 is
M8 is MLBB’s world championship, run by the game’s publisher, Moonton. It starts with a wildcard stage in Thailand, and its main stages are in Istanbul, Türkiye, in January 2027. The exact dates haven’t been confirmed yet.
How Malaysia’s two teams are decided
Six teams reach the MPL MY playoffs, from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November at Stadium Juara, Bukit Kiara. The two teams that reach the grand final on Sunday 1 November are going to M8, whichever of them wins it.
