Moonton will release a revamp of Popol and Kupa, the MLBB hero pair, on Wed 11 Nov. MLBB’s account on X gave the date in a post about the new design.
The post says the revamp builds the pair’s character design and skill experience around a fresh take on their bond. Kupa is no longer written as simply a pet that trails Popol into fights. Instead, the post describes Kupa as a real partner at Popol’s side, with each of them guarding the other through every challenge. In its own words, the two are “partners bound by fate”.
The post calls the pair the Icefield Companions and says they return with a new appearance. It points readers to artwork that explains the design vision behind the change.
Players who use Popol and Kupa will meet the revamped version from Wed 11 Nov, and the full announcement is on MLBB’s account on X. Competitive MLBB coverage, including MPL MY, sits on the Esports hub.
